TWO PLACES IN THE END TIMES

Pastor Tim P. Blaisure – 6/26/22 – Morning Message

Intro:

People who have been in church and have learned about the rapture (Jesus coming for His church – Bride) think they will live the way they want to and then have time before they die or after the rapture, they won’t take the make and they will give their lives to the Lord then. What people don’t understand is that if you can’t serve the Lord during His grace time what makes you think you will when you have to make the choice to live or die. Take the mark of the beast or don’t eat.

What will separate people in the end times is not politics, whether or not you go to church, but do you have a consistent personal relationship with the Lord Jesus?

The Meaning The Number 7

The number 7 is the foundation of God's word. It derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to creation. It symbolizes completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual).

There are 7 days in a week and God's Sabbath is on the seventh day.

The Bible, as a whole, was originally divided into seven major divisions. They are 1) the Law; 2) the Prophets; 3) the Writings, or Psalms; 4) the Gospels and Acts; 5) the General Epistles; 6) the Epistles of Paul; and 7) the book of Revelation. The total number of originally inspired books was forty-nine, or 7 x 7, demonstrating the absolute perfection of the Word of God.

Foundation Scriptures:

Matthew 25:1-13 NKJV

The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,

4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’

7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’

12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

I. FIVE WISE VIRGINS – READY FOR THE WEDDING:

Revelation 19:6-9

“And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

A. Wise had extra oil for their lamps.

B. Wise Had to wait for the groom – Christ coming.

C. Wise stayed ready and watching at all times.

D.Wise had enough oil, watching, waiting, ready when He came.

E. Wise went at the call for the wedding.

II. FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS – NOT READY FOR THE WEDDING:

Revelation 13:11-18

The Beast out of the Earth

“Then I saw another beast come up out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb, but he spoke with the voice of a dragon.

12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast. And he required all the earth and its people to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.

13 He did astounding miracles, even making fire flash down to earth from the sky while everyone was watching.

14 And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life.

15 He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

16 He required everyone—small and great, rich, and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead.

17 And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.

18 Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.

A. Foolish virgins took no extra oil.

B. Foolish virgins had to wait for the groom – (Christ coming)

C. Foolish virgins slept and were lazy.

D.Foolish virgins ran out of oil and were not ready when the groom came – (Christ return)

E. Foolish virgins were shut out and left behind.

Conclusion:

Matthew 24:39-51

“People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.

40 “Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left.

41 Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left.

42 “So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.

43 Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into.

44 You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.

45 “A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.

46 If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.

47 I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns.

48 But what if the servant is evil and thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’

49 and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk?

50 The master will return unannounced and unexpected,

51 and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

· Will you be a part of the 5 wise and enjoy seven years with Christ Jesus and be a part of His bride (the church) at the marriage of the Lamb in heaven and enjoy eternal life and return with Him as He cast the Devil into the bottomless pit?

OR

· Will you be a part of the foolish who are not ready and are left behind and have to face the tribulation, the mark of the beast, and possibly eternal death?

Your personal relationship with Jesus makes the difference where you will spend the end of days.
