NO EXCUSE!

THERE IS NO EXCUSE!

Pastor Tim P. Blaisure – April 30th, 2023 – Morning Message

Intro:

From the time we are able to speak until we die, we have been using excuses to try and get ourselves out of the consequences of our actions. This will not change even after we die and then face the judgement of God. There will be many who will have excuses that they did not hear the gospel, some will say they lived a good life, others will say they did this and that for the Lord.

But God has given us all the proof we need to show that there is a God and that He is the one true God.

Let’s look at the Word of God today and see how no one will have an excuse why they did not serve God.

Foundation Scriptures:

Romans 1:16-25 MEV

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

18 The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth through unrighteousness.

19 For what may be known about God is clear to them since God has shown it to them.

20 The invisible things about Him—His eternal power and deity—have been clearly seen since the creation of the world and are understood by the things that are made, so that THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.

21 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him or give thanks to Him as God, but became futile in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools.

23 They changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, birds, four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

24 Therefore God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves.

25 They turned the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonderful works in Your name?’

23 But then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice evil.
