SEEDS OF RELEASE

Pastor Tim P. Blaisure – 10/30/22 – Morning Message

Intro:

SEED – a small object produced by a plant from which a new plant can grow.

What can also be a seed: Word of God, Finances, Time, In all the fruit of the Spirit resides seed to produce more.

RELEASE – allow or enable to escape from confinement; set free. The action or process of releasing or being released.

SEEDS OF RELEASE: - Something planted that has the ability to produce a release when it comes to full growth, harvest time.

We are now in harvest time in Iowa. In order to get the corn or beans from the field the farmer has to spend money on fuel and equipment and put the time in, to release the harvest from the field and get it ready for market.

So, it is in our lives. The Word of God has been sown, we have sown finances and time of seed for a special harvest. It is at harvest time that we need to put forth the effort and finances to bring the harvest that has been produced in.

What is the harvest that you have sown for and is now in the field ready to be released from the field? If you don’t bring it in at the right time it will rot in the field, and you won’t enjoy your harvest.

Foundation Scriptures:

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 NLT

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. 2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. John 8:31-32 NKJV

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

(The truth will release you)

I. SEEDS OF RELEASE FROM PRISONS (CAPTIVES):

Psalm 102:19-20

“Tell them the Lord looked down from his heavenly sanctuary. He looked down to earth from heaven 20 to hear the groans of the prisoners, to release those condemned to die.

Romans 7:6

“But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.”

Isaiah 49:25

But the Lord says, “The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.”

III. SEEDS OF RELEASE FROM SIN AND SICKNESS:

Romans 8:23

“And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including

the new bodies he has promised us.”

Conclusion:

Seeds for release are revealed to us through the Word of God, the Holy Spirit. He gives us wisdom and understanding. Seed must always be sowed whether it is financial, time, actions to be made, forgiveness, and the list goes on.

Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith and has paid the price for us to be completely free and experience heaven on earth.

We also can choose to leave the harvest in the field and complain that we never got what we sowed for. But in reality, God already brought the harvest of Salvation, Health, Freedom from poverty and bondage but we are not doing anything to release it into our lives.

What is the harvest that you sowed for that has not been released yet?

What is the seed that God wants you to sow for that great release?
