TELL OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD

TH

E LAST STEP TO A MIRACLE AND HEALING IS TELL WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU AND GIVE GOD THE GLORY:

Pastor Tim P. Blaisure – 07/16/23 – Morning Message – Healing & Miracles

Intro:

For the last few weeks, we have been dealing with the steps towards getting a healing and a miracle and keeping it.

For an overview of these steps:

1. We need to hear the Word of God so that we know that we can have FAITH for HEALING and a MIRACLE – Faith comes by hearing and that is from the Word of God.

2. We need to encourage ourselves by SPEAKING THE WORD OF GOD TO OURSELVES so that we will be motivated to DO SOMETHING to get in position to receive from GOD a HEALING OR MIRACLE. – Not just a hearer – Speak to yourself until Faith in God and His Word motivates you to the next step.

3. We need to DO SOMETHING – DO WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS AND REACH OUT AND TOUCH JESUS- don’t say if He wants to, He will come to me – move out and seek the Lord.

4. When you are in the place where God’s Healing and Miraculous Power is it will bring you what you need then you will RECEIVE what He said you will have.

5. The last step is TELL WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU AND GIVE GOD THE GLORY – this is where we are today.

Foundation Scriptures:

James 1:6-8 NLT

“But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

8 THEIR LOYALTY IS DIVIDED BETWEEN GOD AND THE WORLD, and they are unstable in everything they do.”

· Mark 5:27-34 NKJV

“When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.

28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”

29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”

31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”

32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.

33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, KNOWING WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HER, came, and fell down before Him and TOLD HIM the whole truth.

34 And He said to her, “Daughter, YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

I. THE BLIND MAN CAN SEE AND TELLS OTHERS:

John 9:6-11

“Then he (Jesus) spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and spread the mud over the blind man’s eyes.

7 He told him, “Go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam” (Siloam means “sent”). So, the man went and washed and CAME BACK SEEING!

8 His neighbors and others who knew him as a blind beggar asked each other, “Isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?”

9 Some said he was, and others said, “No, he just looks like him!”

But the beggar kept saying, “Yes, I am the same one!”

10 They asked, “Who healed you? What happened?”

11 HE TOLD THEM, “The man they call Jesus made mud and spread it over my eyes and told me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash yourself.’ So, I WENT AND WASHED, AND NOW I CAN SEE!”

II. THE TEN LEPERS CLEANSED AND ONE RETURNS TO GIVE GOD THE GOLRY:

Luke 17:11-19

“Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.

13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, RETURNED, AND WITH A LOUD VOICE GLORIFIED GOD,

16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”

19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

Romans 10:8-10 NLT

“In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.”

And that message is the very message about faith that we preach:

9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

A. Saved – From Sin and everlasting death and destruction.

B. Saved – From Sickness and all Health issues.

C. Saved – From Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, Mental, Financial Issues.

III. THE PARALYTIC MAN WAS FORGIVEN AND HEALED IN FRONT OF OTHERS TO SEE:

Mark 2:3-12

“Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men.

4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So, when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.

5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,

7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?

9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are FORGIVEN YOU,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’?

10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic,

11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

Conclusion:

Mark 16:14-16 NLT

Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe those who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead.

15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.”

1 John 1:1-3 NLT

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. HE IS THE WORD OF LIFE.

2 This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us.

3 We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
