THE THIRD STEP TO A MIRACLE AND HEALING IS TO RECEIVE WHAT GODS WORD SAYS

Intro:
We have been going over the four steps in getting and keeping a Healing or Miracle from God. (Remember without Hearing you will have no faith.)
The FIRST STEP IS TO SAY TO YOURSELF WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS THAT YOU HAVE HEARD, AND READ TO YOURSELF in Faith believing 100% what you say you will receive.
The SECOND STEP IS TO DO WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD TELLS YOU TO DO in faith that when you touch Jesus with your faith you will experience a miracle or Healing that you are believing for.
The THIRD STEP we are dealing with today: RECEIVE BY FAITH YOUR MIRACLE OR HEALING when you reach out and touch Him.
Foundation Scriptures:
James 1:6-8 NLT
“But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.
7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.”
I. THIS WOMAN RECEIVED HEALING AND WHOLENESS:
· Mark 5:27-34 NKJV
“When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came, and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.
34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
· Matthew 7:8
For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
· Matthew 10:7-8
Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!
· Matthew 21:21-22
Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.
22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
II. JESUS CURSES THE FIG TREE AND IT RESPONDS:
· Matthew 21:18-22
18 In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry,
19 and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up.
20 The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”
21 Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.
22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, YOU WILL RECEIVE IT.”
· Colossians 1:22-23
“ Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
23 But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.
Conclusion:
· 2 Peter 1:3-4
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
· Peter 2:21-24 NKJV
“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. (Therefore, you ARE HEALED)
