T YOU SAY MATTERS

Pastor Tim P. Blaisure – 8/13/23 – Morning Message

Intro:

(rope) Example

With our hands we can bind (tie) something or someone up with rope.

With our hands we can loose something our someone from being bond up. (Tied up)

But with our mouths we can bind (tie) up spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and every area by the power of what we believe and say.

But with our mouths we can lose (untie) spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and every area by the power of what we believe and say. In our lives or in others. There is power in Fear words and there is power in faith words.

Foundation Scriptures:

Matthew 16:19 NKJV

19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 18:18-20

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

I. WHAT YOU BIND (SPEAK) ON EARTH IS (BOUND) DONE IN HEAVEN:

Matthew 17:19-21

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Matthew 12:28-30

28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

30 He, who is not with Me, is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

II. WHAT YOU LOOSE (SPEAK) ON EARTH IS (LOOSED) DONE IN HEAVEN:

Psalm 116:15-17

15 Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.

16 O Lord, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds.

17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving and will call upon the name of the Lord.

John 11:44

44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

Conclusion:

Romans 6:21-23

21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
